The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion is a 2013 novel and the first of the Don Tillman trilogy, with the second being the 2014 novel The Rosie Effect and the third being the 2019 novel The Rosie Result. It is told in first person about a man's search for the perfect wife -- otherwise known as the Wife Problem. Don Tillman, the protagonist, is a genetics professor. He has decided it is time to find a wife. And like most of his life, he goes about this in a very scientific, structured way. As Don admits, he does not think the same way as most people. He starts his search for his perfect mate by designing a survey to post online.
