The Iliad is an ancient Greek epic poem, traditionally attributed to Homer. The poem recounts a few weeks of the final year of the ten-year-long siege of the city of Troy by the Greeks; the central focus is on a feud between King Agamemnon, the king of Mycenae, and the great warrior Achilles.
