The First Four Years by Laura Ingalls Wilder is the ninth and last book in the Little House Series. It covers the first four years of Laura Ingalls's mariage to Almanzo Wilder. They have started a homestead farm, but are plagued by bad weather, crop failures, etc. During these four years, they also have a daughter, Rose.
It was published after the author's death and has a different tone than the earlier books.
