Summary[]
The book was initially published as 17 pages long. It is a story about a homely fat pig who spends the night with Farmer Fred in the farmhouse, but changes for better or for worse…
In the book we are introduced to Sammy the pig, who is more obese than other pigs but that makes him cuter. Seemingly, the farmer pities him and lets him spend the night in the farmhouse. The pig is spoiled and snores away, waking Silly Cat. But he is so cute and innocent Silly Cat forgives him. He eats breakfast and Farmer Fred attempts to rehabilitate him out of his spoilage. His fails and all is tranquil. That is, until two Scottish terriers walk by his sight. He causes a great commotion and Farmer Fred gets mad, trying to throw him out. However, the pig is so “big and plump and cute” that all is forgiven and they finish their breakfast.
