Piers Anthony Dillingham Jacob (born August 6, 1934) is a British born author who writes under the name Piers Anthony. He moved to the United States with his family when he was four-years old and became an American citizen in 1958 while he was serving in the U.S. Army.
Anthony writes novels in the science fiction and fantasy genres.He is best known for his series of books set in the imaginary realm of Xanth.
