Miss Nelson is a series of children's books written by Harry Allard & James Marshall and published by Scholastic. The series, which is made up of three books, debuted with The Marriage Bargain on August 17, 2012.
The books are all centered around a school situated in the state of Texas named Horace B. Smedley School and around a kindhearted teacher named Miss Nelson, who is forced to disguise herself as a witch named Viola Swamp in order to gain control of unruly students and classes.
