Desert Plains is a science fiction novel series written and originally self-published by Victor Methos, who has also written several other works, including the Jon Stanton series, Brigham Theodore, The Plague Trilogy, and the Baudin & Dixon Trilogy, then published by Thomas & Mercer, starting from the second novel, "Crimson Lake Road". The series debuted with "A Killer's Wife", which was published on March 1, 2020. The entire series contains two novels so far, the third being called "Phantom Deadfall", which is coming on August 17, 2021.
