Plot

The plot of the novel revolved around the life of Jack and Grace, a married couple who seem to be perfect with each other, with Jack being a wealthy attorney and Grace being a housewife who tries to care for her sister Millie, who has down syndrome. Though, despite this, when Jack and Grace are alone, Jack prefers keeping Grace as a prisoner.
