'Atlas Shrugged is a novel by author Ayn Rand. Written in 1957, the book follows a philosophical theme of objectivism. In simpler terms: "reasonable selfishness." Atlas Shrugged is considered Rand's Magnum Opus, and is also her longest novel at 1168 pages.[1]
