Arthurian legends are stories about the reign of King Arthur in the golden age of Camelot . Most Arthurian legends are based directly or indirectly on Sir Thomas Malory’s Le Morte d'Arthur (c.1469). Then there are the stories which tell the legend from other perspectives or use it as background material.
